Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery
for a travel nursing job in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.Job Description &
Requirements
BLS, NRP and AWHONN (Association of Womens Health, Obstetric &
Neonatal Nursing)
Fetal monitoring, maternal assessments/interventions, high risk
newborns/mothers post-delivery, cervical exams for labor
progression, OB triage, able to assist with circulating c-sections,
primary nurse for vaginal deliveries, assist with procedures,
post-partum, L&D recoveries
Shift: 12hr Night Shift (36)
Shift Information: 7p-7:30a
On-call, Call Back Requirements: Can be placed on call if census
allows
Weekend Rotation: Yes, depends on the demand of the schedule and
holes that need to be filled
Holiday requirements: Potentially if needed
Floating requirements: None
JOB DESCRIPTION
Oshkosh - WH and OB Serv. Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and PP unit.
Since we are a one stop shop we would need this candidate to be
proficent in labor, delivery, post-partum, and recovery. Potential
extension of contract.

Beds: 13 (12 L&D; 1 Triage; 1 OR)
Experience: 5 years
Patient Types:
Antepartum, postpartum, L&D, Gynecological post-op
(hysterectomies and D&Cs),
32 weeks and up
COVID/PPE:
Adequate PPE provided
Patient Ratios:
1:2 Laboring
1:1 active labor
1:3 couplets
various gynecological surgeries
Required Certifications:
BLS, NRP, FHM
Skills required
Experience with all the above patients, circulate C-Sections,
Recover mom and infant
Support on the Unit:
CNA: 1:13
OB techs serve as scrubs during C-sections
Charge nurse: light assignment
Phlebotomy/RN: draw blood
OB-GYN on call at night
Midwife on call at night
FHM monitoring at nurse's station and bedside
Unit secretary 0800-1400
Charting System/Equipment:
EPIC
Alaris
Pyxis
