UW Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Pediatrics for a job in MADISON, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements

between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with one weekend day call
rotation a month. Hours may vary based on the needs of the
department. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an
integral role in our inpatient care teams by providing
high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Be a member of team comprised of a dedicated and talented group of individuals who are committed to patient- and family-centered care, injury prevention work, and keeping kids safe.
- Work autonomously with the support of an experienced team.
- Enjoy day-to-day variability and flexibility with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.
- Be part of a team that spans beyond the hospital walls and
engage with a wide range of community partners. Education: Minimum
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from
accredited Nursing Program. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or
Master's degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and
Certifications: Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If
Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical
practice. These may include the following: Family, Pediatric Acute
Care, or Pediatric Primary Care. If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification All Nurse Practitioner and
Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or
ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. *Active
license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of
practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other
