- We are seeking an Electrophysiology Tech to:
- Perform pediatric, adolescent and adult diagnostic and
interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Function independently as an expert technologist in EP who is a
highly competent and clinically skilled member of the Heart and
Vascular Care Procedure Center patient care team.
- In addition to assisting the EP physicians with the most
complex procedures, you'll oversee the technical operations
required for the performance of routine diagnostic through the
advanced interventional electrophysiology procedures.
- Be an expert in EP based on their knowledge, clinical and
technical skill level and ability to educate and train staff within
the department.
- Job Requirements
- Facility Requirement: Traveler must have permanent address
outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in
traveler's profile).
- Experience: Electrophysiology or EP experience, Strong EP
Ablation experience required
- Two (2) years of Electrophysiology Technologist work experience
in a dedicated Electrophysiology Laboratory
- Traveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma
center or similar size hospital.
- Prior traveling experience highly preferred.
- Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience.
- Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry test
prior to being cleared to start.
- Schedule Information
- Traveler must be able to work schedule in posting and
interested in the unit.
- Unit Specific Information
- Travelers are the first to float to floors working with
children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's
competency skills/experience.
- The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units,
depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations
within the organization.
- During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer
has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to
complete contract.

- UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for
