• Required Certifications: WI RN, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS.
  • Job Details
  • Registered Nurse for CVICU.
  • AUTO OFFER UNIT.
  • 36hrs Guaranteed Hours Per Week.
  • Primary Location: ThedaCare Appleton.
  • Shift Requirements: 12hr Variable Days/NOCs.
  • Start times: 530a, 530p.
  • *any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.
  • Weekends: Every other.
  • Holidays: As needed.
  • 22 bed general med/surg ICU with an open heart program.
  • Patients include respiratory failure, STEMI, IABP, Septic Shock, TTM, CRRT, COPD, CHF; Carotid endarterectomies, whipples, AAA.
  • Ratio 1:2 could increase due to COVID.
  • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.
  • Scrub Colors: Black.
    • Job Requirements
    • 3 years of nursing experience REQUIRED.
    • Minimum 2 years CVICU experience REQUIRED.
    • Charting: Epic within the last year REQUIRED.
    • Required Skillset: Must have Fresh Heart experience.
    • Phlebotomy skills strongly preferred (skill would be expected to learn).
    • No new travelers - at least one completed contract REQUIRED.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12hr Variable Days/NOCs.
      • Every other weekend.
      • Holidays as needed.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • 22 bed general med/surg ICU with an open heart program.
        • Responsible for respiratory failure, STEMI, IABP, Septic Shock, TTM, CRRT, COPD, CHF patients.
        • Carotid endarterectomies, whipples, AAA procedures.
        • Patient Ratio: 1:2, could increase due to COVID.
          • Additional Details
          • Limited Holiday RTO.
          • *NO NEW TRAVELERS - No travelers coming from a facility or their home location is within 50 miles from ThedaCare Corporate - Neenah, WI campus*.
